Rosconn Supports KES Raise funds for Water Aid on the 400th Anniversary of Shakespeare’s Death
Tremendously dedicated students from King Edward’s School, Stratford, will be cycling, rowing and running from their School to the Globe Theatre in London. All in aid of the charity Water Aid who transform lives providing clean water and sanitation in some of the poorest places in the World.
This spectacular event is expected to set off at 4.30am on Saturday 23rd April with the first students leaving on bikes with a replica of Shakespeare’s Quill. They will cycle 78 miles delivering the quill to the next team in boats who will row into the centre of London. The final part of the relay will be picked up by the runners delivering the quill to the Globe stage where they will receive a very warm welcome.
Hoping to also collect donations along the way they will be supported by two school vehicles which have been specially liveried for the occasion.
Caroline Hackett from The Rosconn Group joined the KES team yesterday for the pre-event photo shoot to wish them luck on their journey.
